Sign, sign, everywhere a sign!

I am reminded of the 5 Man Electrical Band's classic song as we prepare to distribute lawn signs starting tomorrow. Local neighbourhoods will look a lot more like there's a municipal election coming up. Candidates will start putting signs on lawns and around the city on Friday, and you'll truly be able to sing, "Sign, sign, everywhere a sign"!

If you'd like to display one on your property or in an apartment window, please email me.

Looking forward to placing these signs on lawns this week!
Once signs are delivered, there are still many upcoming events in which to participate. I have highlighted just a few of them below in Upcoming Events. The first All Candidates Meeting for ward 9 also happens next week on September 12th. It's hosted by the Working Centre and will be held at the Queen Street Commons. If you're able to attend, I look forward to connecting in person! If not, there will be other similar meetings later this month and in October.

Neighbourhood Happenings
It's back to school season for many students, parents, and educators this week. I hope it has all gone well and to celebrate I dug up an old school picture of mine to share as well (top left). Our team has been busy meeting with many ward 9 residents. I have enjoyed many lawn and house decorations along the campaign trail. I particularly enjoyed this resident's sense of humour! (top right)

Looks can be deceiving! From Courtland Ave, there are very few obvious signs of construction happening on the Schneider's site. However, as you can see (bottom left) the view is rather different from the other side. You can find out more details about the project and its progress here. Sidewalk chalk proves to be popular in all neighbourhoods in ward 9. This particular chalk drawing of a pizza (bottom right) determined my supper plans for that evening!
