Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to make you aware of a change of tutor for 9 Tenzing. After two years of being the tutor of Tenzing, Miss Morgan is now handing over the tutor group to Mr Kershaw, who will do an excellent job. Miss Morgan has passed on the following message:
"I have been given an exciting opportunity to relocate, which means I will no longer be working at Sir John Hunt. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of COVID-19, this is my goodbye to you and to the tutees of 9T. I have loved being a tutor to Tenzing and I will miss being their tutor, but am reassured knowing they are in safe hands, with their amazing Pastoral Team. I will always remember our epic Christmas parties, quiz day Fridays and the pride I have felt for all of their achievements. I know that all members of this tutor group will go on to become kind, successful and respected members of society, and I am so lucky to have been a part of their journey to success.
I wish them all the very best in their GCSEs, and for the future, and want to thank them for brightening up the start of each day with their witty banter and terrible jokes. Every morning I say to them, “Make good choices”, so that is how I am going to sign off this letter.
Make good choices,
A message from Mr Kershaw
“Hi, for those of you who do not know me, my name is Mr Kershaw and I am a Mathematics teacher here at Sir John Hunt. I was really excited to receive the news that I would be taking over as the tutor of 9 Tenzing. Over the past couple of years I have been privileged to teach many of the tutees and have seen so much potential in all the students.
I would like to say a big thank you to Miss Morgan who has done a great job in providing the students with such a solid foundation to achieve great things in year 10 and 11.
I look forward to working with you all very soon.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or worries please do get in contact with Miss Morgan firstname.lastname@example.org
or Mr Kershaw email@example.com
