Mini Mondays are back! Join us on Mondays for a fun-filled day of creative and stimulating programming exclusively designed for toddlers. We provide tailored crafts to help develop fine motor skills, activities that aid in dramatic play, and/or a special story time at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.
March's Theme: Animals Moving Right Along!
This month we will explore animal movements with three creative crafts using fun accessories and painting techniques.
  • March 7: Fancy Fish
  • March 14: Beautiful Butterfly
  • March 21: Exquisite Elephant

*Please note that there will be no Mini Monday programming on March 28 due to our Spring Break Line-Up.

MARCH 19, 2022

Children's Museum members and up to two free guests per member are invited to experience the power of play at this exclusive event featuring after-hours access to the museum.
From 5:00PM – 7:00PM, explore the galleries and drop by the Lunch Box area for a free refreshment (while supplies last). We’re calling on spring to make its appearance with a delicious and fresh springtime craft. Decorate a plant pot and then nestle some seeds inside to grow a tasty takeaway treat. Don't forget to enter our Members Night survey draw for a chance to win a prize package valued at $150!

The Children’s Museum Board of Directors is pleased to call for nominations to the Board of Directors for the term commencing June 2022.
The Director position is a volunteer role on the Board of Directors. The volunteer Board of Directors, on behalf of all Manitobans and visitors to our province, provides overall leadership, policy development, and strategic direction to the Manitoba Children’s Museum using a Policy Governance© model.
Nominees should have demonstrated leadership at the local or national level, possess demonstrated excellence in their own field of expertise, and be enthusiastic about volunteering their support to the Manitoba Children’s Museum and its future. The Board Nominating Committee is seeking individuals with priority given to the following skills and expertise:

  • Lawyer
  • Early Years Educator
  • Arts, Culture, and/or Heritage Professional
  • Strategic-minded individuals with the ability to think big picture and long-term
  • Ability to make a contribution of time and energy through active participation on the Board and Board Committee(s)

The Board is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and considers nominations from under-represented groups an asset.
To apply, please forward a cover letter and resume for consideration to Sara Hancheruk, Executive Director by 4:30PM on March 25, 2022.

MARCH 26 – APRIL 3, 2022

Join us for a Superhero-Sized Spring Break! Throughout the week, guests will be encouraged to stretch their muscles and their brains with hands-on activities and workshops, exciting games, and full-body challenges. From 11:00AM – 3:00PM daily, our Program Interpreters and special guests will help participants learn about and acquire a different superhero skill – from super speed to super sight. Come each day and watch your superhero skills grow!

We are now accepting booking requests for group visits, school programs, birthday parties, and facility rentals on a case-by-case basis – taking into consideration such factors as group numbers, visit dates and times, and other booking details in order to effectively manage the number of visitors in our facility at one time.

JULY 4 - SEPTEMBER 2, 2022

Registration is now OPEN for our Summer Day Camps!
Summer campers will create, discover, learn, and meet new friends as they explore exciting themes related to our galleries and special events. Grouped with others of a similar age, campers will enjoy stimulating, age-appropriate activities all day long. With indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, time in the galleries, and special guests, your children are sure to have a memorable week full of adventure!
