Kambarang Festival 2021

The LoCale in Midland came alive on the 30th of October with the 2021 Kambarang Festival – a Trillion Trees, Moorditj Koort and City of Swan event! There was great music, awesome food and incredible performances as we celebrated healing country, restoring nature, and connecting the community. To finish the evening the wonderful puppet parade led the crowd to Weeip Park for the sweet sounds of the Perth Symphony Orchestra - it was simply magic!

Introducing Trillion Trees Australia!

Thanks to the support of our board and members we’ve had a name change - we are now officially Trillion Trees Australia! And we’ve got a spanking new logo to celebrate. Watch this space - we are increasing our impact and making sure our children share in a greener planet.
Welcome CPS

CPS is a locally owned and operated supplier of conveyor solutions, and they are committed to reducing their environmental impact by pioneering environmentally friendly manufacturing and engineering methods.

They have implemented a ‘green plan’ at their Welshpool factory that includes recycling waste and packaging and introducing carbon offsets. The team stopped by for a visit to our nursery and we can’t wait to see what comes next for CPS and how their actions will inspire others in industry to consider ways to work greener and cleaner. Find out more about CPS by visiting their website.

Trillion Trees in the Community

Spring is festival season and in addition to our Kambarang Festival the Trillion Trees team had a stall at EnviroFest 2021 at Whiteman Park on October 16 and Birdfest in Manning Park on  November 6.
We always enjoy these events filled with interesting talks and environmental products alongside likeminded organisations. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to stay up to date and see us at future community events. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer at these events as a volunteer on the Trillion Trees stall.

A world audit of trees in 2015 showed there are just 3 trillion trees left in the world - that's half what there used to be.

We, as a global community, need a new tree planting target - to plant 1 trillion trees! If each person in the world plants 140 trees, we will achieve this!
