Opportunities to Serve
Here are opportunities for you to serve our community. We've listed the project and the club contact.
Meal deliveries from EL High School continue every Thursday 11:30 am EXCEPT November 26, December 24 and December 31.
Weekend Survival Kits moved between 9:00 and 11:00 am from Okemos to individual schools on October 22, November 5, November 19, December 3, December 10 and December 17.
The meals deliveries from the high school range from 2 stops in Lansing to 7 stops in East Lansing. Time to deliver ranges from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
The Weekend Survival Kit deliveries use one or two vehicles to moves meals from one stop to the school loading areas. There is most often help to both load and unload kits.
- East Lansing High School - 100-200 kits
- Attwood Elementary school - 60 kits
- Heartwood and Secondary Learning Center - 40 kits
- Fairview School - 100 kits
Contact Barb Hollstein to volunteer for any of the food deliveries.

Kiwanis Education Minute
Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Today, we stand with more than 550,000 members from K-Kids to Key Club to Kiwanis and many ages in between in 80 countries and geographic areas. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance.
Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year.
