"Take care of yourself now that you’re old enough to know how."
~ Olivia Wilde
weekend wrap-up
Making plans to have a good week:
🎨 Spending some 'me time' on anything that helps us relax. After you've done the 1,000-piece puzzle, try out some new 'me time' activities like a personal paint-and-sip party to elevating your nap game.
🌟 Adding on our to-do list: spread joy. For many, the holiday season is a bright spot in our year. Make the most of it by stretching it out and sneaking joy every single day. Two words: nonstop cookies.
🍞 Meal prepping soft and crispy focaccia. PSA to fellow dessert people, Claire Saffitz is back on YouTube in her own channel that walks through recipes from her debut cookbook (and omg we can't wait for the foolproof tarte tatin).
Last time we asked what's something you've made that you're proud of? Thanks for the inspo to pick up our knitting needles again. Here are a few of our favorite responses 💕:
🙌 "My grandmother's recipes! I can't see her right now because of Covid but I learned some of her meals through Facetime and that keeps us close" ~ Ashley W.
🙌 "My bed every morning. Seems like a small thing but after coping with depression, it makes a huge difference and I'm in a much better place now."
🙌 "Although I've been a maker all my life, the best things I've ever made are my children (now 34 and 31)" ~ Kim F.
This week we want to know: How did this year really go for you? (1 - worst year ever, 10 - personally great!). Good or bad, we're always here for you ✨
