💕 Spicing up date night. Winter may seem like a dull time for dates, which really makes it the *perfect* time to plan something fun.

I chose to forgo the stress of wondering if they hated me for demanding too much. I proactively reduced the amount of shit talk related to my wedding and, in turn, eliminated what would have been a significant source of anxiety for years to come."

 LIFESTYLE  For when your house is decluttered but your brain isn't ~ You've cleared out the mess thanks to Marie Kondo, but now what? Maybe color code your closet or even have friends over. There's more joy to spark everywhere. "If your friends have also been on the decluttering train, they probably have items they’d like to get out of their homes too. Make a cheese board, grab some $5 Trader Joe’s wine, and set out everything you want to get rid of. It’ll feel like you’re all going on a shopping spree, but it’s free!"

 FUN  For when New Year's resolutions just aren't your thing ~ Introducing the New Year's vice aka embracing that thing you're *not* supposed to do instead. Sleep in or skip the gym if it makes you happy because you deserve a break from always going at full speed or just DGAF. "Your vice of choice might be something you’ve been taught is antithetical to personal growth (like outright refusing to join a gym). It might be something that is, objectively, quite bad for you. Whatever it is, it should be something that holds special meaning for you — something that makes you feel good, for one reason or another."

Friendship soup mix to show you care even when it gets too cold to hang out. Directions: layer each ingredient, cap, decorate, and warm your bestie's heart.
