Happy International Women's Day!
Last Friday, Plus Workspace attended the International Women's day celebration held by UNWomen Australia.
It was a fabulous morning with many inspirational women speaking, including Luz Restrepo from Melbourne based, not-for-profit social enterprise, SisterWorks.
Sisterworks has recently taken on the UN Women’s Second Chance Education and Vocational Learning (SCE) Program. The program aims to help women from indigenous, refugee, displaced, and low-income backgrounds with meaningful learning and employment pathways through formal education, vocational education and entrepreneurship training. AMAZING!
We were so moved by the work UN Women Australia and Sisterworks do that in lieu of gifts and flowers this International Women's day we've made a contribution to both.
