Celebrating International Women's Day! 


This coming Friday 5th of March, the Plus Workspace team will virtually attend the International Women's Day (IWD) celebration held by UN Women Australia.

It will be an afternoon filled with many inspirational women speaking, including Australian of the year Grace Tame, a survivor-advocate for vulnerable groups in the community.

IWD is celebrated around the world on the 8th of March. Since 1990, UN Women Australia has hosted the pre-eminent IWD events around the country representing the United Nations Gender Equality agency.

The global UN Women theme for IWD 2021 is “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”. This theme celebrates the tremendous efforts of women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future. 

We are always so moved by the work UN Women Australia do that in lieu of gifts and flowers this International Women's day we've made a contribution.
