Clinical Engineering at the Forefront

Here are some images we've gathered from Social Media Channels that include our great heroes working hard every day!
"Wang Cheng, manager from Mindray PMLS R&D, didn't know when he would see his wife again, as he hugged her goodbye at Union Hospital of Shenzhen in early February. His wife, Dr. Li Duoyun, volunteered to help treat the infected patients in Wuhan, China. The separation was painful, but Wang didn't suspend his projects. "The fight against COVID-19 needs a lot of equipment support now for sure. But we also should plan and further our innovations in R&D so that we can provide doctors and nurses with more accurate and efficient solutions. "said Wang. Wang finally met his wife again as she returned two months later, but their work against the epidemic continues."

Proud Recognition and Thanks to our Colleagues!
Very important that our community of medical device servicers -- around the globe -- receive recognition and support for their hard work.

Like the men and women who keep our military fleet of fighters, ships, tanks, and every last piece of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical devices safe, reliable, and service-ready, the massive community of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs), Clinical Engineers (CEs), and Field Service Professionals (FEPs) are often working quietly on the front lines 24x7 in hospitals ensuring patients, physicians, and nurses have as many devices as possible saving lives, not sitting on shelves or in closets.

THANK YOU all for your hard and skillful work in the midst of this crisis.

Elliot Sloane & The IFMBE CED Board
Thank you,
