Catch Up With Carlisle

March 11, 2021

School & Student News

Baseball is back at Carlisle School, and we are thrilled that our Chiefs are able to play this season on the newly rebranded Leisy-Muehleck Baseball Field at the Dick Hensley Athletic Complex. We are also delighted to see families and friends return to campus to enjoy extra-curricular activities together! #CarlisleTogether #CarlisleFamily

Students in Lower School STEAM classes used a coding app on their iPads to program Dash the Robot. Visit us on Facebook to see more photos of this activity and to answer our fan question: If YOU could program a robot to do anything for you, what would it do?

Upper School students partnered with TheaterWorks Community Players to present Drop the Mic, a Virtual Poetry Slam. Watch a replay of the live show.

Students in AP Environmental Science modeled an oil spill, tested various cleanup methods using household materials, and discussed the effective solutions.

Open House Planned

Carlisle is hosting a virtual open house for new families who are considering enrolling their children for the next school year. The event will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 7 pm and highlights The Carlisle Experience, which includes individualized instruction for students who may have fallen behind from virtual learning due to COVID.

  • NEW Flexible Rate Tuition

  • Small Class Sizes

Click to learn more about The Carlisle Experience. CarlisleSchool.org/tour.

A reminder to all current families: Re-enrollment contracts are due on 3/19 by 4:00 pm. This will secure your child's place for the 2021-2022 school year. You will also save the $150 enrollment fee if you register by this date.

Classroom Furniture Fund

Through the support of generous donors at the Carlisle auction, we were able to raise more than $19,000 towards the cost of updating classroom furniture at Carlisle. We have added that fund directly to our Donate Page and ask for families to help us reach our fundraising goal of $30,000. Donate at carlisleschool.org/give or via Venmo: Carlisle-School.
