Shape the future of Spencer Academies as a Trust Governor

Trust governors are part of our governing bodies across The Spencer Academies Trust, modelling best practice and sharing their professional knowledge Trust governors play a different role to traditional staff governors, who hold a link role in the schools where they work. Rather, Trust governors are part of a governing body in another Spencer school. They share best practice, work with a wider group of colleagues across the Trust and are part of how our schools learn from one another. Staff working in secondary academies are encouraged to volunteer in primary schools and vice-versa, developing a valuable perspective on the education journey of our children and young people. After a highly successful pilot programme, our aim is to have at least one Trust governor on every governing body. To put your name forward to be a Trust Governor or for more information email Kate Godfrey at k.godfrey@satrust.com or see the website http://satrust.com/governance-and-scheme-of-delegation/
