Patricia Cardoso
Patricia is an award-winning Latina director, writer and producer. She has directed THE WATER CARRIER, REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES, LIES IN PLAIN SIGHT, THE AIR GLOBES, MEDDLING MOM, RO, LA CLAVE, and EL PASEO DE TERESA. Patricia was the first Latina ever to win a Sundance Film Festival Dramatic Audience Award and to receive a Student Academy Award. She was invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in the Directors branch in 2017. In 2018 Ava DuVernay tapped her to helm an episode of her acclaimed series Queen Sugar.

Scarlett Urbano
Scarlett is a graduate from the Met Film School in London. She's originally from Tijuana, Mexico and currently resides in San Diego, CA. She started making films when she was 14 at Idyllwild Arts Academy, a liberal arts boarding school in Southern California. Scarlett has worked as a producer, writer, director and editor on several projects, ranging from feature films to TV shows. Her short 'Jasper' follows a young, lovelorn inventor who strives to create a time machine in order to win back his ex-girlfriend.

Janicza Bravo
Janicza rose to prominence after writing and directing the short film 'Gregory Go Boom', starring Michael Cera, which took home the Short Film Jury Prize at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. She followed that up with multiple award winning shorts like 'Pauline Alone' and 'Woman in Deep.' She most recently wrote and directed LEMON, a feature which premiered at Sundance and subsequently sold to Magnolia, who released the film last August. She is also set to direct ZOLA, which is set up at A24 with Killer Films and Ramona Films producing. On the TV side, Janicza has accrued several high-end credits including HERE, NOW and DIVORCE for HBO, as well as LOVE and DEAR WHITE PEOPLE. Additionally, she directed an episode of FX’s ATLANTA titled “Juneteenth”. Before that, she adapted a short story for Amazon as part of their collaboration with The New Yorker.
