An overview of FreshXperts

Often new subscribers of thePATH ask what exactly is FreshXperts. So, let us introduce our services.

FreshXperts is a consortium of industry-specific specialists banding together as consultants to the fresh food industry. Each member is a subject-matter expert and operates his/her own consultancy. FreshXperts often team up to create customized solutions for clients. Many FreshXperts are still active in the industry and therefore cannot only provide advisory services but also the oversight and services needed to implement the proposed path.

FreshXperts believes in building relationships with its clients and providing quality services that the client has chosen to undertake customized to meet the size, scope, and budget parameters. Our model is to come alongside our clients listening, supporting, guiding, advising, and implementing a plan and approach that will bring the desired results. That is why most engagements begin with a Professional Analysis visit. This visit includes pre- and post-conversations, a report by the FreshXperts member and a recommended path forward.

Our FreshXperts are available as panelists on specific topics at industry tradeshows, food shows, and other industry events.

No matter how you look at it, a great number of customers start out wanting to buy something but suddenly pull out. What's it all about? What disturbed them to cause this to occur?

People talk to other people and a good experience makes them tell others something positive. A lousy experience makes people speak negative about a company. Who do you think will get the business?

In Season: Market Memo

August Update 8-5-19

We have transitioned out of the challenging month of July.  We are seeing the Central Valley in California pick up with volume but for the most part there is good supplies in logistics.  Regional growing regions have started their summer harvests.  That means several states have local produce going now which a lot of processors and retailers use until we get into the Yuma season.  Now is good time to start the dialogue for your winter contracts.  Keep in mind that Fresh Xperts can help with your logistics contracts or commodity contracts for the winter.
