Founders Letter
Next month, we'll be back in person for our 8th TWL US. Hard to believe, and very exciting. It'll be 13 writers, 8 in-person mentors, the TWL team and a score of virtual contributors, enjoying the glories of the Hudson Valley and each other for four days of craft, business, and community building.
Collaborating with people—live—is the air we breathe. And mentors who share their time and expertise to lift other women filmmakers—they’re the sunshine. We’ll be basking in the glitter of returning mentors Susan Cartsonis, Lisa Cortes, Suzanne Farwell, Amy Fox, Pamela Gray, Rita Hsiao, Mary Jane Skalski, Pat Verducci and Jamie Zelermyer. And we’re thrilled to welcome brilliant new additions (see box below).
Also returning to make it all possible, the incomparable Meryl Streep, Kate Hall and Gary Lynch, and Nicole Kidman—who's been sharing our successes on her social media. Amazing.
Thank you, one and all.
Write on.
