Thank You, Jennifer Dunn (TWL 2021) for creating the free app Notes Community to help screenwriters of all levels find a screenwriting group, hone their craft, stay accountable, and band together with peers to advance their careers!

Virginia Abramovich 
(TWL 2021) just won $10K in development funding for her sci-fi feature LIL, written with Katherine Andrews, from the Canadian provincial government.

Virginia plans to direct and shoot
a proof of concept this May!

After winning the Nova Scotia Masterworks prize for her film Dawn, Her Dad, & the TractorShelley Thompson (TWL 2018) used her winnings to create a fund for Trans Youth. Under the umbrella of a youth charity in Halifax NS, called Phoenix Youth Programs, the Dawn Fund intends to provide financial support to young trans people in need.

Kim & Mai Spurlock (TWL 2017) will join the inaugural cohort of the Blumhouse and K Period Media's Screamwriting 
Fellowship. The sisters will hone their horror pic Good Sisters during the immersive year-round program, which includes a
week-long intensive!

(TWL 2015) have penned another charming romance: The Wedding Cottage
