Founders Letter
Here at The Writers Lab, we love words. But looking at the pic below, it really is worth a thousand. It captures how we moved through the lab for four days: a touch giddy, a bit tousled, and definitely shoulder to shoulder.
If you don't have a group of women who've got your back in your art, find one or create one. Doesn't have to be big. Doesn't have to be in person. Just has to be.
Our deepest thanks go to the team at New York Women in Film & Television, who have partnered with us for 8 years, and continue to make the Lab possible. We joyfully welcomed Cynthia Lopez (Executive Director), and Rashiek Smart (Manager, Operations & Special Projects), to the lodge to join in the magic. Thanks, also, to The Writers Guild of America, East, (below) and the team at Falco Ink for their continuing PR support.
And, of course, to all of you storytellers....
Write on.
