Join Us on the 2nd Floor
of Memorial Park Library

Wordfest staff and volunteers will check in all guests from the 2nd floor entrance to the performance space. An elevator is available from the north-west corner entrance of the building or the main floor of the library.

Check In

Please present your e-tickets either printed out or from your mobile device. You may also provide your name at the door. If you are waiting for a guest, please let us know.

Your Safety

To provide a community-first return to live programming for patrons, authors, Wordfest staff, volunteers, and the venue staff, we will be taking the following precautions:

• Masks are strongly encouraged. We recommend wearing your mask at all times while at the venue when not eating or drinking, including when seated in the theatre and in the post-show signing line.
• Bar Service will be available pre and post show to enjoy socially distanced in the lobby or while seated in the theatre.
• We will also offer “London Book Service” as an alternative to the post-event book signing. See below.

Bookseller & Signing Line

A post-event author book signing will occur in the lobby following the main presentation. Copies of The Power of Teamwork: How We Can All Work Better Together will be available for sale on site through Owl's Nest Books.

London Book Service

To enhance your comfort and safety, as an alternative to the post-event book signing, you may pre-purchase books through Owl’s Nest in advance, or at the door. Authors will sign these copies prior to the event, allowing pre-purchased copies to be picked up before and after the show from a table separate from the book signing line.

Cash Bar Available

A cash bar is available starting when doors open at 6pm. Bar service resumes after the show during the book signing. Drinks are permitted inside the theatre.

Parking

Street parking is available near Memorial Park Library, and some areas such as 13 Avenue may have free spots after 6 p.m. Please read street signage carefully before parking your vehicle. Nearby paid parking lots include ImPark Lot #77, Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre Parking Lot, and Hotel Arts Non-Guest Parking.
