ABA News June 2019
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ's behalf, "Be reconciled to God." He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
-2 Corinthians 5:20-21

Mathew 20:27-28 “and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Not only did we focus on physical basketball skills to help each athlete become a better basketball player, we also focused on the leadership skills necessary to be a better point guard. Players learned servant leadership through the example of Jesus. In addition we focused on the importance of continually learning, communicating effectively and setting an example for their teammates.
Strong, Courageous and Aggressive
"The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” - I Samuel, 17: 37
The story of David and Goliath was the focus of Post Camp. It is a great way to encourage Posts to be strong and courageous, trusting that God has equipped them with the tools necessary to be successful in the post and play with great heart.
Posts learned that as a teammate it is important to consistently box out, crash the offensive boards, defend the rim and post hard. Being reliable and doing these things makes them a valuable part of the team.
