Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ's behalf, "Be reconciled to God." He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

ABA Christmas Service Project
Sorting shoes at the People's City Mission
Thank you so much to everyone who showed up to help at the People's City Mission, for this year's Christmas Service Project!
“These guys are doing more than just learning to play ball, they are learning to serve each other and our community, to be a team that sticks together win or lose, give 100% on and off the court, and to love and lead, all in an arena of loving Jesus,” said Coach Jill Sand.
The 6th Grade Boys Gold team worked together to make “blessing bags” and give them to the homeless in Lincoln.
Jill said, "This idea came from our team captains when charged with the responsibility of thinking of a way for our team to give back and serve others…Each bag had basic hygiene items, snacks, socks, Bible, devotional, and a note signed by the team."
The guys and their families donated the items. Then after our games we loaded into a few cars on a Saturday to deliver the bags to homeless around Lincoln. Followed by the team’s favorite meal, wings!

“ABA is a sweet spot for this amazing group of young men to competitively play ball through the lens of their walk with God. I'm beyond blessed to coach them and learn so much from them as we go through the season. It was super meaningful to the homeless individuals and our boys. I hope we can do this every year!” said Annthie Hinton.

Former Husker, Luke Gifford (center) with players at the indoor facility
The Baseball Kickoff Event was a great time for players to participate in team building games and get to know other players as well as hear the Gospel. The kids also got to hear from former Husker football player, Luke Gifford!
