We worked hard and summer's finally here. Enjoy this issue as we celebrate some of our successes and get a little advice from a few of our kids about how
to make this summer super.

But how do you keep mom happy? (As demonstrated above.) The Haas family took this picture for us on their long trip to Ohio. Mom Sarah says things can get a little crazy on vacation. Thanks to the Haas family, the Barwicks and the Rollins' for sharing some great tips below from their trips. We'd love to hear about yours. And if you can beat this picture I would LOVE to see it!
Tarissa Barwick took the time to jot down some great thoughts from her recent car trip to Tennessee

"It's hard not to be bored and stare out of the window looking at the trees and cars passing by. As for me, I don't get bored on road trips. I play games in my mind, games such as: Spot the Flower, Counting Signs, Color Find and fun activity books, like "Find-N-Count Your Favorite Animal".

"As we enter the mountains, pretend you're with me and look out the window. You will see that there are more trucks, less houses, more trees, more mountains and valleys. As you drive deeper into the mountains, you see a sign that reads: Welcome to Tennessee.

We're almost to the Sparks' house. Our close friends moved to Tennessee because all their family lived there. It's fun to see waterfalls and animals while visiting friends. We finally arrived!"
The Rollins girls sent us some great beach advice.
