Giving Thanks for God's Blessings

It's the month that we all celebrate the many blessings that we have been given. Here at CCS, we are so thankful for:

  • a successful first nine weeks of school
  • dedicated teachers and staff
  • physical, mental and spiritual growth in our students
  • parents/grandparents who value a Christian education

Our New Website

Our new website is up and running. Please take a look and pass it on to someone who might be interested in learning more about CCS and all that we are doing!

YOUR help is needed!
We are still in need of your testimonials about our school - how it's helped your child, how it's made a difference in your education plans, etc. Your stories will tell our story better than we can. We need content from parents, family members and students. The testimonials can be written or we can shoot a short video of your thoughts. If you are willing to help us with this, please send us an email at

We are also looking for great photos and videos that showcase our school at its very best! If you have photography or videography skills and would like to volunteer to help us with this project, please let us know

CCS Student Earns Top Test Score in SCACS

On November 7, Sarah Sheorn was recognized for having the highest test score in the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools for the March 2018 Iowa Testing. Out of the more than 40 schools tested in the state of South Carolina, Sarah had the highest score. We are very proud of her accomplishment and her desire to learn and always give her best.

Pete the Cate Field Trip

Our first field trip to see a Pete the Cat play brought lots of excitement for our Preschoolers - 3rd Graders. It was a learning experience for everyone. The children also had lots of fun eating lunch at Chick-fil-a afterwards.

Job Shadow Day

Our 6th - 8th graders took a day away from the grueling school schedule to visit places of business to learn more about different areas of life skills. They had a wonderful time and came back with stories about tumors being removed, how homes and tanks are designed and made, how patience is the #1 trait to have as a teacher and how disabilities make us all grateful for healthy bodies. They are looking forward to the next Shadow Day scheduled for April 2, 2019.

Historic Brattonsville

Our 4th - 8th graders made the trip to Historic Brattonsville earlier this month. They had perfect weather and really enjoyed the tour.
