Two Mile Celebrates Valentine’s on Sat., Feb. 15

Stop in at Two Mile Coffee Bar during Valentine’s weekend for a holiday treat! They’re brewing a special mocha latte called  “Livin’ the Vida Mocha,” which is served with two strawberries dipped in their house-made, dairy-free dark chocolate mocha. 

Two Mile will be celebrating Valentine’s Day all weekend long, but they have a special event on Saturday, February 15. 
  • Live music from 9 to 11 am with Andrea & Dustin Brewer. 
  • Custom “Love Blooms” flower bouquets from Petals & Ink are available for pre-order and pickup between 9 and 12 pm on Saturday. Pre-order your gorgeous, unique floral arrangement in a glass vase with handwritten note for $60 at the Petals & Ink website
  • Artisanal soaps by Lays Lemons will be available for purchase, while supplies last. You may also place an order for soaps using this form.

Beverly Hills Marketplace Offers Customer Appreciation Days

We hope you will join us for our next 95" Street Business Association meeting on Tuesday, February 25, at 8 a.m. We meet at The Original Pancake House at 10437 S. Western Ave. 

We also hope you will join us later that week on Thursday, February 27, at 8 a.m. for our 19h Ward Business Breakfast. This annual gathering will be at Barraco's restaurant on 111" Street. The program will begin at 8:30 am, with an update on the ward from Alderman Matt O'Shea. The 22nd District Police District will also join us and be available for questions.

Snow Removal Reminder: Help Us Keep the Sidewalks Clear 

As required by the City of Chicago, our snow removal contractor will plow a six-foot path straight down the sidewalks on 95th Street when we receive two or more inches of snow. Business owners are required to clear a path from their entry way to the path so that pedestrians are able to navigate the sidewalk.

You’re invited to a Town Hall with our Chicago City Treasurer Melissa Conyears-Ervin. She will present “Dollars & Sense”, an informative talk, on Saturday, February 22, at 10 am. The presentation will take place at Englewood STEM High School, 6835 S. Normal Blvd.

Cyber Security Presentation Yields Timely Tips for Securing Your Business

Thanks to all who joined us for our first meeting of 2020! We were very excited to host Kevin Scanlan from SCORE as he presented information on cyber security and protecting your small business. Our members enjoyed learning more about this timely and relevant topic, especially actions they can take to protect their business. Please contact Erin if you weren't able to attend and would like information from this presentation. We also were delighted to have Mary Jo Viero, BAPA’s new Executive Director, join us and talk about some ideas she has for BAPA.
