95th Street Businesses Show Their Support for Breast Cancer Awareness & Y-Me Tournament

All through the month of August, local businesses in Beverly, Mount Greenwood, and Morgan Park were invited to participate in a pink lights campaign. The business associations provided the lights free of charge, and businesses displayed them in their windows to boost awareness of breast cancer. This effort coincided with the 25th anniversary of the Y-Me Softball Tournament, which raises funds to support metastatic breast cancer research at the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center.

We are proud of our business community’s response to the invitation and would like to thank the following businesses for shining the pink lights this month:
Beverly Hills Garage
Beverly Hills Marketplace
Essential Creations Chicago, Inc.
Jimmy Jamm Sweet Potato Pies
Live and Believe Nutrition (The LAB)
Law Office of Lynette Lewis & L.R. Pass & Associates
Peace of Pizza
Southtown Health Foods
Top Notch Beefburgers
