Hello, all!

We hope you and your loved ones are well and that your week is off to a good start.

As we prepare to welcome the community back into our businesses, it is critical that we demonstrate extra care for our employees, customers, and each other. Social distancing, masks, gloves, and protective barriers at cashier counters along with frequent cleansing of high touch areas are important tools to ensure that we maintain a healthy environment.

In coming weeks, our newsletter will offer tips and tools to support area businesses as we move into the recovery phase of the Covid-19 pandemic.

What’s Your Resiliency Story?

Covid-19 suddenly changed how we conduct business. As we prepare to reopen area businesses, there are numerous considerations that must be addressed to ensure we are protecting our employees and customers.

The 95th St. Business Association is excited to support you as we highlight the wonderful stories of resilience, creativity, and community that we have seen and heard during this dramatic shift in how we do business.

We invite you to write and send us a 150-200 word “Resiliency” story about the creative approaches you are taking to welcome back our community. Your story can answer any of these questions:
  • What do you want the world to know about your business?
  • How will you market your business reopening?
  • Are you changing from sit-down to curbside pick-up?
  • Are you making changes to your layout?
  • Are you activating a more robust online presence?
  • What PPE requirements have you put in place?
  • How can the community support you?
Your story may be featured in our digital communications (e-news, website, and social media channels). It also could be selected for a business profile on the City of Chicago Business Affairs and Consumer Protection website.
