Fall Fest Fun & Thanks

The 95th Street Business Association hosted our annual Fall Fest on Sunday, October 13, at the 95th Street Farmers Market. Despite the wind, the turnout was great and everyone had a wonderful time. We are especially grateful to the following for helping us make this a special day:
  • BAPA for sponsoring window decorations to help us build momentum for our annual fall fest.
  • Alderman Matt O'Shea for providing complimentary popcorn at our event.
  • Smith Village for providing sugar cookies and all of the items necessary for kids to decorate them.
  • Kathy Figel of the Edna White Memorial Garden for preparing a craft activity for children.
  • Arlene Gottardo, the children's librarian from the Beverly Branch Library, for entertaining our little visitors with Halloween craft projects.
  • Erin Yanz from Erin's Farm for bringing a pony and petting zoo for the children to enjoy.

Tune in for the Tombstone 5K Tomorrow!

Come on out and help cheer on our runners and walkers registered for our annual Tombstone 5K on Saturday, October 19,  at the Mt. Greenwood Cemetery. The timed race begins at 8:30 a.m. Special thanks to Southtown Health Foods for donating water for the event, as well as to those 95th Street businesses who helped sponsor our 5K.
