49th Ward Update
November 24, 2021
As we enter the holiday season, I would like to take a moment to celebrate and appreciate our wonderful community.

Over the past 20 months, I've seen the tenacity, strength, and compassion of our neighbors. We've seen neighbors helping one another access food and other essential items. Grassroots efforts sprung up to collect donations to help our unhoused neighbors. Neighbors volunteered across the city to help others get their vaccines.

Rogers Park has demonstrated what a community can accomplish when they come together, and I couldn't be prouder to serve as your alderwoman. This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for my community. Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Happy Hannukah.

Alderwoman Maria Hadden
