Once all my last Christmas tasks are complete, I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. And, as is tradition in our family - a trip to the panto is booked!  Oh yes it is!!!
Discover my last few Christmas organising
tips in my latest 3 minute video!
2 weeks until Christmas - almost there!

1. Pop the last posting dates in your diary & diarise a post office trip if you need to
2. Make those last few online purchases so packages all arrive before Christmas
3. Plan your Christmas meal & diarise grocery shopping/reserve a delivery slot
4. Wrap presents & group them together ready for the big day or to deliver
5. For guests - put aside fresh linen/towels, shop for toiletries & make space

6. If you are hosting Christmas dinner, think about tables/chairs, napkins, table decorations etc..

Keeping up with your Christmas prep?
It's such a busy time of year.  Struggling to keep up?  Take some time out to write some good lists. A list for food, gifts, cards and one for everything else. Work out what needs to be done this week and next and then tick off one by one.
Be realistic about how much time you have and don't forget to ask family members for help!  Listen to the Declutter Hub podcast for some Christmas planning tips or sign up to our free resources to receive our 8 week countdown to Christmas to make sure you have everything covered!
Clear kitchen worktops!
Recently I helped a client who had stopped cooking proper meals as her kitchen was so cluttered, particularly the worktops.  I was so touched by a photo she sent me afterwards of the home-cooked meal she had prepared after my visit!

Are you thinking about making space for Christmas in your kitchen?
For a quick win, remove outdated or unwanted food from your cupboards and declutter chipped mugs/plates.  Once you have made some space, clear your worktops by putting everything away that should be in a cupboard!  It's a simple and quick solution at this time of year!
Finally, I would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.  I hope you enjoy all the plans you have made with your friends and family.  If you have some time off over the holiday I hope you can rest and recharge!  Wishing you all the very best for an amazing 2019!
