We hope that you had a great Christmas. After the challenges of last year, we are all hoping for an improving situation and the world gradually moving back towards normal. We look forward to catching up with many of you - hopefully away from Teams and Zoom - in the coming months. We wish you a happy and healthy 2021.
In the first of our monthly newsletters for the new year, we kick off with a few successes from late last year. These include the approval of the first Design Code for East of Harry Stoke New Neighbourhood. Required by planning condition, this document covers the Phase Two area and will help to create a cohesive, distinctive and legible development.
We also say congratulations to Hannah Pigrem for becoming a qualified architect just before Christmas. Great news. Hannah is an important member of the pad team - including playing a key role in both Somerset Barns and our Home of 2030 submission featured below.

The end of 2020 saw good news in the form of planning permission being granted on appeal for demolition of agricultural barns in the Green Belt and provision of a new dwelling, described by the inspector as ‘architecturally meritorious’.

Also late last year, we were delighted to find out that we had made the longlist with our entry into Home of 2030. The Government’s competition sought to drive innovation in the provision of affordable, efficient and healthy green homes.
