Deadline looming for ARG claims
The deadline for submitting a claim for an Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) is next Wednesday 12 May. All claims must be received by the end of that day. Those businesses that have previously received an ARG from us have been sent an email requesting confirmation of key information. You must reply to this email with the requested information by close of play on 12 May.
The criteria for ARG have been extended so more businesses should be eligible. If you have been severely affected by the Covid restrictions but are ineligible for the Restart Grant then you may well be eligible for an ARG. Please check the criteria on our grants webpage where you will also find the application form. Deadline for submitting the completed form is Wednesday 12 May.
We have had an excellent response to the Restart Grant scheme but there are still many businesses that we think are eligible but have not replied to our email seeking the key information we need to pay the grant. If you have previously received a COVID grant from us, please check your inbox and your spam to make sure you haven't missed the email.
Full details of Restart Grant and ARG criteria are on our website along with application forms for both schemes.
