A 300% increase in our services... What's next?

This February we are kick starting our 2021 Appeal. Hoping to raise $85,000.

Why $85,000?

Due to the growing demands of our services we must fund three projects that expand our services and cater to our clients needs. During Covid-19 our services expanded by 300%, seeing a rise in clients experiencing Domestic Violence, Mental Health Disorders & Community Isolation. To reach the rapidly expanding needs of our clients we need your help...

Last year with YOUR support and the Department of Communities & Justice (D-V response grant), we raised $320,000 to address these issues with practical strategies and implementation. Throughout this month we want to show you what we got up to in 2020 and what we have planned in 2021 so that you can continue to be a part of the entire story.

YOUR 2020 efforts enabled us to meet our clients needs by allowing us to grow our services in three key areas...

This is only a snapshot of the growth of 2020; with new counsellors, coordinators, a constantly expanding M2M program, Diamond's rebranding, a Covid-safe open always practice (that's correct we never shut our doors)... We have managed to take on a lot more projects and are excited to show you what we have in store.

More Clients = More Projects

Because our women have needs, we have needs. We know that our supporters need to be able to understand why we must do what we have to do. So this month, we will break down why $85,000 scratches the surface...

NEED 1: Help fund our new ''Welcome to Motherhood'' initiative. We want to create beautiful packs that are delivered to every new expectant mum with a unique resource created by professionals on what to expect during pregnancy, next steps and some pamper gifts to celebrate this new season.

NEED 2: Help fund our program expansion. We want to reach new locations this year - our plan is to launch a Mum2Mum in South West Sydney and regionally. $200 would fund one client to attend a Mum2Mum event.

NEED 3: Help fund us to reach clients who can't find support for their unplanned pregnancy. In order to reach new clients we need to advertise our services more. $1000 would fund online advertising targeted to women in need and ensuring they know we are here for them. Without this, women cannot find services like ours, and are often left unsupported and uneducated.
