This year has been something unusual, and at Diamond, we are eager to usher in the New Year. We are filled with hope that it brings families united and deeply connected communities, as we have seen up close and personal how much this year has impacted everyone in some way.
What has been so personally inspiring and heartwarming has been the rapid response our team has made to the pressing needs of our clients. Their ready adaptation to change the way we deliver our services had been nothing but admirable. And adapt they did. Despite a pandemic, 3 month quarantine period we had 33% more clients than last year! The need for caring support, counselling and a safe place to share their concerns and navigate challenges is only growing.
It is with that in mind, that I am writing to ask for your help. Covid has impacted our ability to raise funds this year to sustain our work, it has impacted many of our donors and it also has driven a demand for our services more than ever. We can not continue to meet the need without your support.
