Thankful for 2018 While Stepping Into 2019
“Beloved, whenever you are in doubt as to which way to turn, submit your judgment absolutely to the Spirit of God, asking Him to shut every door but the right one. Say to Him, ‘Blessed Spirit, I give to You the entire responsibility of closing every road and stopping every step that is not of God. Let me hear Your voice behind me whenever I ‘turn aside to the right or to the left’ (Deut 5:32).”

2018 brought about many changes that we did not expect. Chadwick and I were thankful to go to Hungary on a short-term missions trip to continue praying about God’s nudging towards missions. We were still in doubt as to whether God was calling us to Hungary. The prayers from our hearts continued as we sought God and announced to family, friends and our church that we were being called to a new place.  He continued to show us the ways that he had been preparing us for this next place of ministry as well as asking us to trust him for the next step.

2018 was also a year of beginning to travel and speak at churches to raise our support. We have loved being at every church that has opened their doors to us and have been blessed by their encouraging words and financial support. God has been opening doors to speak all over the Midwest and speaking to hearts to support us financially.

2018 was the year we listed our house for sale and we continue to pray for release from this burden. Our house was just recently listed for sale through a realtor and we trust that God will open the door for what is next. We give Him the responsibility and listen as he tells us the next steps to take.

2019 is a year of big changes for our family. We will move to a new country with new foods, language, housing, friends and ministry position. The transition has already begun in our hearts and minds as well as in our children’s thoughts. We anticipate God opening doors to put us in the right home that will be good for our family and our ministry needs.  We are not alone in our doubt as Christians, in which direction we should go at times, but we wholly trust in the Spirit to continue guiding us as he has always been faithful.

We would like to announce that we have set a date to be funded for Gyor! Our goal is to be fully funded by April 1, 2019.

That is 80 days away from today.

We are not afraid, for we have seen the Lord continue to provide.
Your prayers are very needed as we have a lot to do before we leave the week after Easter. Our home needs to be sold, our passports need to be renewed, visas need to be granted, another load of things taken to storage in Indiana and our luggage needs to be bought and packed! These are just a few of the practical things that need to be taken care of in the next 80, there are so many more.

We cannot wait to see the new things that God will do in the next 80 days, including adding to our financial support team.  Will you pray about joining Team Anderson? We have broken our need down into a smaller goal to give us a picture of what it will take to meet our April 1st deadline. At this point, we are in need of 25 people to commit to supporting us at $100 a month (for the next 24 months). Could that be YOU? Could that be YOUR CHURCH community? Your SMALL GROUP? A Friend group?

Thank you for being a part of our support team. We feel so blessed to be able to share our story with you!

Praises and Prayers
  • We have gained several new financial supporters and one- time financial gifts over the past month. We are so thankful!

  • We have listed our home with a realtor and have had one house showing. We are thankful for our realtor and pray that the Lord would open the door for a buyer soon!

  • Please pray for the ministry work in the Gyor. “Please pray for those people who are on the 'border' of the church. By that, I mean those who are attracted to what we are doing but don't know God yet. Also for all our university students, they have exams. Pray also for our programing we want to have relevant and useful ministry events but struggle with having enough time to carry out these events.” -Gerry McNamara

  • Keep our 4 girls in your prayers as they process this big move and transition. Pray for peace and comfort.
