Welcome to the December edition of the Pyramid Post!

We had a great time last Friday evening hosting part of the Christmas In Anderston event, supported by the Health and Social Care Partnership, Sanctuary Housing, Glasgow West Housing Association, Anderston Community Council, the Weavers' Society of Anderston and Glasgow City Council Area Partnership. The Pyramid was home to Santa and Mrs Claus, festive treats a-plenty, live music, hot chocolate, fire pits and marshmallow toasting, a Winter Art Trail, silent disco, face painting and more, all before the Christmas tree lights switch on. Thanks to everyone who came along and joined in, and helped us to deliver a safe and fun-filled event.

We were particularly delighted that our new lift was operational in time for the event; enabling full access to the upper floor of our building for the first time for those with reduced mobility. The lift installation marks the beginning of a series of major building upgrades and redevelopment works that will continue throughout next year.

Looking ahead to 2022 - we are planning a season of Winter Wellbeing activities and events to keep the winter blues at bay. Keep a look out for more information about this in the next issue of the Pyramid Post. In the meantime, all at Team Pyramid wish you a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year!

LAST CHANCE TO SEE! Christmas In Anderston Winter Art Trail
Head down to the pedestrian part of Argyle St (where the new Sanctuary Housing blocks are) to take a look at the Christmas In Anderston Winter Art Trail featuring 280 brilliantly festive pictures created by pupils at our local schools. The poster boards will be taken down early next week - so this weekend is your last chance to see the wonderful artworks.

With thanks to the staff and pupils from Anderston Primary School, St. Patrick's Primary School and Sgoil Ghaidhlig Ghlaschu for taking part. Your art is amazing! Thanks also to the local residents for the use of their railings.
