The Pyramid Post
Welcome to this jam-packed issue of the Pyramid Post!
A newsletter for the membership and community of The Pyramid at Anderston.

We've got loads of exciting events coming up; beginning on Mon 13 Sept with Scottish Opera's Pop Up Opera, then on Fri 24 Sept we're hosting a Bollywood Night to kick off our Community Festival Weekend. Over the September Weekend (Sat 25 & Sun 26 Sept) The Pyramid will be bursting with loads of free and fun activities for all!

We're also really pleased to highlight a couple of brilliant local community-run initiatives, G3LitterFree and Anderston Green Spaces  which you can also get involved with.
If you have community news that you would like us to share in the next edition of the Pyramid Post please get in touch:

The Pyramid at Anderston: AGM

Our AGM will be on Tuesday 19th October at 7pm. You are warmly invited to come along and hear about what we’ve been doing since our previous AGM, held last November. In a year that has challenged us all we have still been able to engage with, and support, the communities of Anderston and Finnieston. At the AGM we will hear more about this. We will also hear about the generosity of funders, investing financially in our work, and how we are spending the money. Most importantly, we will have the opportunity to thank all who, in many different ways, have gathered over the past year to celebrate the life of The Pyramid in our community. We hope to see you there.

We are hoping to be able to hold the AGM in The Pyramid if restrictions allow, although we will make sure that there is also online access to the meeting as well, for anyone who isn’t able to attend in person.

Get Involved: Join our Board!

We are currently looking for local people to fill three vacancies on our Board of Trustees. If you live in the G3 7 or G3 8 postcode area, and feel that you would like to serve your community and would like more information, contact:

The group had their first Tidy Up Day on Sunday 5 September. They met up at The Pyramid to do some clearing up in preparation for planting up some lovely things around the building in the upcoming months.
