Lived Experience Supervision Project Lead (either consumer or family/carer LE position). This is a six-month 0.5 eft fixed term project position. The role will provide project management for a collaborative project that includes CMHL, peak lived experience bodies VMIAC (Consumer) and Tandem (Family Carers), and the DHHS. This collaborative project will allow for the co-design and delivery of discipline specific supervision for lived experience workforces in mental health.
This role will work closely with the appropriate staff from VMIAC and Tandem to ensure that that the project objectives and outputs are achieved. The successful candidate will have well developed communication skills, experience in working in mental health services in a LEW role, and be able to successfully lead this project from start to end.
The Mental Health Consumer Workforce Project Lead -Organisational readiness/Student placement
support and the Mental Health Family/carer Workforce Project Lead - Organisational readiness/Student placement support will work together to facilitate project planning, codesign, model development, validation, and report writing in relation to:
The development of an organisation readiness program ready for implementation that will create the necessary organisational conditions in mental health services for the sustainable employment, career development, and purposeful use of the unique capabilities of lived experience workers.
The development of state-wide models of student supervision to support the placement needs of people enrolled in the Certificate IV in Peer Mental Health, with particular regard to the placement of the Cert IV on the TAFE free list and the resulting increased volume of placements that will be needed.
The successful candidates will have well developed communication skills, experience in working in mental health services in a lived experience workforce role and be able to successfully co-lead this project from start to end.
