Implications for the Centre for Mental Health Learning

We are excited to collaborate with consumers, carers, workforces, other agencies, and government to make positive change and move towards a new system that truly supports people and their mental health and wellbeing.

The report will have many implications for the CMHL’s work, particularly recommendation 58, concerning workforce capabilities and professional development, and the establishment of the new Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing. More detail and specific refence to the CMHL can be found in chapter 33 in volume 4. The CMHL also has a particular interest in recommendations regarding the development of the lived experience workforces and their leadership capabilities.
We hope to be able to update you soon on specific work the CMHL will be undertaking to further the implementation of these recommendations.
