Announcing The Way Christian Ministries!

Back in 2013 we moved into the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco with a lot of hope and expectation that God was going to move in power. We didn't have total clarity on what God wanted to do, but we knew through seeking Him that He would guide our steps and lead us into His vision for this ministry. Over the past 6 years we have seen God move in power in the men and women who have come into our discipleship homes. People have surrendered their lives to Christ in these houses and we are so thankful that we get to play a small part in that. Around 2 years ago, the leadership team at Project Bayview was sensing that God wanted to shift some of the way we did discipleship. We wanted to focus on intentional one-on-one discipleship relationships while also looking to build character. As we started to develop our 4 phase discipleship model, we also thought that the name Project Bayview didn't represent the ministry the way we wanted it to. There was not a lot of meaning behind the name, so after a lot of prayer, we decided to change our name to The Way Christian Ministries. Our houses are built on teaching men and women how to follow Jesus. Jesus calls himself the way, the truth and the life in John 14:6 and the early Christians were known as followers of The Way. As a ministry, this is the only thing we want to be known for - pointing people to The Way. The Way is excited to launch into this new year with a lot of momentum and we want to invite you to partner with us in prayer, financially, or serving alongside us in some way. Our newsletter is one of the ways that The Way wants to include you in all of the amazing things God is doing here.

"Even in my weakness, God is so faithful. I had been in the house for just a couple months and I was already on my 6th mentee. We had just spent 12 hours in the ER and now she was getting ready to leave over a small amount of drugs I had found. I couldn’t take it anymore. I felt helpless, inadequate and defeated.
