Chapel Hill Transit J Route Detour
Due to the 60-day closure of South Greensboro Street, the J route is being detoured along Main Street and Jones Ferry Road to Hwy. 54. Two stops are temporarily closed, but alternates have been added. See the detour map and alert information here.
Proposed Funding for PART Route 4 Expansion
Alamance County is on its way to having a $2 rental car registration fee which will help pay for services from PART. The fees would generate nearly $300,000 to allow Route 4 to run an extra round trip during the day and alleviate overcrowding. A public hearing will be held before moving forward. Read more here.

Durham-Orange Light Rail Project Input

Siler City Vanpool Seats Available
A vanpool departing from Siler Crossing, US 64, has an available seat. It arrives at UNC at 7:45 a.m. and departs UNC at 5:05 p.m.

Carrboro Open Streets is April 9
On Sunday, April 9 from noon to 4 p.m., the Town of Carrboro will close Weaver Street to car traffic and open the street as a public space for activities including a rock climbing wall, bike races, Zumba, Doonya, and more! Check the Facebook page for updates.
