Chapel Hill Transit Seeks Feedback

Which is most important: improved weekday service, improved weekend service, or a new system from scratch? Give feedback on their transit plan by taking the online survey before Feb. 23. 

Ride BreakShuttle to Charlotte

Heading to Charlotte for Spring Break? Ride BreakShuttle with other UNC students. Purchase one-way tickets online by Feb. 25 for a discount. BreakShuttle leaves UNC Mar. 9, en route to the Charlotte IKEA and returns Mar. 18.

Off-Campus Student Life Housing Fair

Need a CAP discount card or tips on finding a transit-friendly residence? CAP can help! Stop by the Carolina Housing Fair on Mar. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Student Union Great Hall.

EcoReps Trainings

EcoReps is a student-led outreach organization dedicated to promoting sustainability at UNC. Free sustainability training sessions open to all students will be held on Feb. 11, Feb. 23, and Mar. 6. Apply to join EcoReps online.

Light Rail Design Workshop

GoTriangle is hosting an interactive workshop on Feb. 20 to explore the aesthetic design of the light-rail project and would like your input. See Facebook event.

Wake Transit Plan Draft

The Wake Transit Draft Work Plan outlines projects such as increased frequency on GoTriangle's CRX, as well as more bus routes and free fares for teens. Provide feedback on the plan via email by Mar. 12. Read more.

Chapel Hill Transit Detoured from Stadium Drive

The Chapel Hill Transit A, NU, and U routes are detoured until March, due to a utility project on Stadium Drive. See affected stops and detour information.

Open Seats on Vanpools

Riders wanted! UNC's vanpool subsidy is now $30 per month. There are open seats on vanpools from Apex, Graham, Mebane, and Siler City. See all vanpools serving UNC.

Ben & Jerry's is partnering with UNC Musical Empowerment to raise awareness and money for under-served youth. Use this order form to purchase a cake for Valentine's Day (or just because!) and a portion of the sales will be donated.

Bike Repair Workshop

Learn how to repair a punctured tire and lubricate a chain on your own bicycle with The Clean Machine. This event on Feb. 22 costs $50 and includes all the accessories for repairs you'll needand you get to keep them! Contact The Clean Machine to sign up; see the Facebook event for details.
