Wake County Transit Plan

Do you live in Wake County? If so, be sure to comment on the Transit Plan. Visit, email, or attend one of the upcoming public information sessions.  

Chapel Hill Transit Summer Schedule 

CHT will make the following service adjustments beginning Saturday, May 7:

* Weekend NU & U routes will not operate and will resume on Aug. 20.
* Weekday NU will not operate and will resume on Monday, Aug. 22.
* Weekday A-Limited will not operate and will resume on Monday, Aug. 22.
* Safe Ride will end on Saturday, April 30 and resume on Thursday, Aug. 25.

Robertson Scholars Express (RSX) Summer Break

The RSX route between UNC and Duke will not operate on Sunday, May 8 through Monday, August 22. Service will resume on Tuesday, August 23.

New Park & Ride for PART Route 4

In late May, PART will open a new Park & Ride location in coordination with Cone Health. The lot will be adjacent to Alamance Regional Medical Center off of Kirkpatrick Road in Burlington, so riders can easily catch Route 4 to UNC.

Use Zipcar for Work

Did you know you can use Zipcar for work, without paying out-of-pocket? It's free for the department to create an account, and work trips can be billed directly to the company card (upon approval of trips by the departmental administrator). Zipcar rates start at $7.50 per hour. Read more here.
