Nominate for Golden Modes by June 15

Do you know an exceptional commuter? Nominations for the 2018 Golden Modes Awards are open until June 15! Fill out the online Commuter Award nomination form for yourself or someone else.
 

Bikes, Bells, and Blueberry Days

Sat., June 16, 12 pm – 3 pm; Chapel Hill Community Center Park
Join CAP, Go Chapel Hill, and other local groups in celebrating bicycling with blueberries, live music, games, and more at this free event. Bring your bicycle! See more details on the Facebook event page.

New Bike Amenities Map

Check out the "Bicycles" category at maps.unc.edu. This new layer shows covered bike racks, fix-it stations, Tar Heel Bikes bikeshare hubs, and more! 
 

Bicycle Coalition Meetings

The Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill (BACH) will now have meetings on Thursdays instead of Wednesdays, still meeting at 6:30 pm at Vimala’s Curryblossom Café. The next meeting is Thurs., June 28.

The Carrboro Bicycle Coalition (CBC) meeting is cancelled for June, but meetings will continue on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
 

Mountain Biking

Interested in crossing over into mountain biking? Join up with the Triangle Off-Road Cyclists (TORC) for weekly rides (for all skill levels) and trail maintenance sessions all across the triangle. See the Meetup group.
