Transportation Fair is at Three Zeros Day

Celebrate with UNC's Three Zeros Day! The "Transportation Station" will be one of the interactive displays advancing zero waste, water, and greenhouse gas initiatives.
Tuesday, Sept. 25, @ Polk Place, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
(or Children's Hospital lobby, 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.)
 

Help Design Future Transit

Transit systems serving UNC are designing future bus service. Stop by the "Transportation Station" or provide input with the online surveys linked below.


Choose Your Change

Know a student who's looking to save money, help the environment, or improve their health? Encourage them to try a new commute with a Choose Your Change pledge by Oct. 31. Students who participate get free t-shirts!
 

BreakShuttle to Charlotte

BreakShuttle will provide students with a direct, safe and affordable option to travel between Charlotte and UNC for the upcoming Fall and Thanksgiving breaks.

New Electric Buses

Chapel Hill Transit and GoTriangle have received grants to purchase electric buses. See news releases for Chapel Hill Transit and GoTriangle.

To get service alerts for detours, delays, and school breaks, download the TransLoc Rider app or visit triangle.transloc.com (see announcements in menu). 
 

Bike


Bike Auction Coming Soon

UNC's Bike Auction is a great way to get a new bike at a low cost. Transportation & Parking and Alpha Phi Omega auction abandoned bikes each year to raise money for charities. This year's auction has been postponed from Sept. 18 due to Hurricane Florence. Stay tuned for the new date.

 

Bike Survey

UNC is applying for recognition as a Bicycle Friendly University. Please fill out a survey to provide feedback on your bicycling experience at UNC by Monday, Oct. 1.

Hey Apex, Cary, and Siler City!

Vanpool riders wanted! UNC's vanpool subsidy is $30 per month. There are open seats on vanpools from Apex, Cary, and Siler City. See all vanpools serving UNC.

CAP members get a free membership, but any non-CAP member can sign up by 9/30 for a free month.
