Free Winter Gear for New Year, New Commute

Have you made a New Year's Resolution? Whether you want to save money, get more physical activity, or use your commute time more effectively - cycling, bussing, or ridesharing can help. NC 54 West Corridor Study

The NC 54 Corridor Study is an in-depth review of the 20+ mile stretch of NC 54 between Old Fayetteville Road in Carrboro and I-85 in Graham. The study's objectives include transportation improvements. Provide input on an interactive map. Public meetings will be held Jan. 23-25 in Carrboro. See details online.

Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro MPO Plan

The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) seeks public feedback on the proposed 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. Visit the DCHC MPO Website and provide comments directly by email by Feb. 9.

Upcoming Public Meetings

Chapel Hill Transit is hosting the second round of public involvement meetings on-campus on Jan. 23 and 24 for the Short Range Transit Plan. See more details on their website.

GoTriangle is hosting two interactive workshops to explore the aesthetic design of the light rail project. Attend in Durham on Jan. 16, or Chapel Hill on Jan. 18. See details online. Can't make the meetings? Join the online workshop.

Chapel Hill Transit Detoured from Stadium Drive

The Chapel Hill Transit A, NU, and U routes will be detoured until March, due to a utility project on Stadium Drive. See affected stops and detour information.

Chapel Hill Transit V Route Adjustments

As of Jan. 7, the V route has an updated schedule and will no longer serve St. Thomas More School. See the new route brochure.

Open Seats on Vanpools

Riders wanted! UNC's vanpool subsidy is now $30 per month. There are open seats on vanpools from Graham, Mebane, and Siler City. See all vanpools serving UNC.

Use your UNC Onyen login to sign up for ShareTheRideNC for carpooling to events, trips, or work. Employees can track their trips to get GoPerks! UNC Health Care employees can sign up using an email login.

New $5.50/hour Zipcars!

As of Jan. 14, Zipcar is now offering two new Ford Fiestas on UNC's campus at $5.50 per hour! Reserve a car today.
