Chapel Hill Transit J Route Detour
Due to the 60-day closure of South Greensboro Street, the J route is being detoured along Main Street and Jones Ferry Road to Hwy. 54. Two stops are temporarily closed, but alternates have been added. See the detour map and alert information here.
Potential PART Route 4 Expansion
Alamance County just passed a $2 rental car registration fee which could allow Route 4 to run an extra round trip during the day and alleviate overcrowding. The PART Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing April 12. Read more here.

Triangle Bicycle and Pedestrian Workshop
Come out to the seventh annual Triangle Bicycle & Pedestrian Workshop on Fri., April 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center! Learn about the latest developments in bicycle and pedestrian transportation within the Triangle.
After the workshop, attendees will have the option of going to lunch at a local restaurant (at your cost) and taking a walking tour of downtown Cary or going on a group bicycle tour (bring your own bike and helmet). Register here!
New Fixit Station
There is a new bike pump and Fixit station at Open Eye Cafe! Come to the ribbon cutting on April 12 from 6-7 p.m. There will be free refreshments, a fix-a-flat demo, and prizes.
Confident Cycling for Women
Are you a woman who knows how to ride a bike but you're not comfortable riding on the road? Register for this workshop, to be held at Carrboro Century Center on Sat., April 22 from 8:30-4 and get some tips from a certified instructor. See flyer here.
Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill Meeting
The Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill (BACH) will be meeting Wed., April 26, at 6:30 p.m. in Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe. Meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month.
Carrboro Bicycle Coalition Meeting
The Carrboro Bicycle Coalition will meet Wed., April 12 at 7 p.m. in the back room of the Open Eye Cafe after the Fixit Station ribbon cutting. The next meeting is May 10. Sign up to volunteer at the bike blender at Open Streets on April 9!
