UNC Total WellBeing Expo

CAP will attend the Total WellBeing Expo on Wed., Mar. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rams Head Recreation Center! The event highlights all facets of wellness, including physical fitness and community involvement. CAP will be there to distribute discount cards, free swag, and commute assistance. See you there!

Chapel Hill Transit Spring Break Schedule

The A-limited, NU, weekend U, and Safe Ride routes will have changes March 10-17 for UNC's Spring Break. See the news alert.

Public Meetings for the Gateway Light Rail Station

Public information meetings regarding the Gateway Light Rail Station area will be held on Tues., Mar. 13 at the Chapel Hill Public Library from 9-11 a.m. and from 12-2 p.m. Other opportunities for public comment are on the project page.

Chapel Hill Transit Resumes Service on Stadium Drive

The Chapel Hill Transit A, NU, and U routes are no longer detoured due to the utility project on Stadium Drive. Since the project is complete, normal bus routes have resumed!

Transit Driver Appreciation Day

Have you thanked your operator lately? Transit Driver Appreciation Day (#TDAD) is March 18. Chapel Hill Transit will be celebrating its operators and maintenance staff March 12-18, so give shout-outs on social media! Read more.

Open Seats on Vanpools

Riders wanted! UNC's vanpool subsidy is now $30 per month. There are open seats on vanpools from Apex and Siler City. See all vanpools serving UNC.

Win Prizes through GoPerks!

Use your UNC Onyen login to sign up for ShareTheRideNC for carpooling to events, trips, or work. Employees can track their trips to get GoPerks! UNC Health Care employees can sign up using an email login.

If you haven't tried out Tar Heel Bikes yet, stop by the Total WellBeing Expo on Wed., Mar. 14 to meet a program representative and learn more about this free bike share program at UNC.

Triangle Bicycle & Pedestrian Workshop

Speakers from around the Triangle will present their projects and updates, with inspiration from the Netherlands. The free workshop will be Fri., Mar. 16 from 7:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Graham Memorial Hall at UNC. See event details.

Chapel Hill Travel Safety Campaign

Chapel Hill is launching a travel safety campaign for March, including phone safety (for drivers and pedestrians alike). Follow the campaign in Chapel Hill eNews or the CH Police Department's social media.

Spanky's New Menu

Spanky's new menu debuted on Mar. 7 to feature more locally sourced, fresh food! See their Facebook post. Spanky's is part of the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group and donated one of this month's prizes. 

Discount Cards

Discount cards are available for all CAP members! Stop by the Public Safety Building (285 Manning Dr.) or the Hospitals' Parking Office (in front of the Children's Hospital) to pick up yours! Visit our website to see discounts provided.
