ChiaoGoo Shorties Sets are in the shop!
The red set includes: 12 sets of surgical stainless tips, sizes US 0-3 (2" and 3") mini-diameter red cables in 5", 6" & 8"; tightening keys, connectors, stitch marks & mini needle gauge; tip sleeve with size-labeled pockets & a snap closure! The red set is $115.95.
The blue set includes: 10 sets of surgical stainless tips, sizes US 4-8 (2" and 3"); small-diameter red cables in 5", 6" & 8"; tightening keys, connectors, stitch marks & mini needle gauge; tip sleeve with size-labeled pockets & a snap closure. The blue set is $125.95.
Both sets are roughly a coin purse size ... the maker has a word of caution: "the parts and prices contained .. are very delicate. Please store and use carefully."
But wait, there's more ... we included a couple of sizes of ChiaoGoo's Twist Short Combos (just to see how y'all like them). Each pack pack contains one 2" (5 cm) and one 3" (8 cm) set of the same size tip as well as two MINI red cables allowing you to make 9" (23cm) - 12" (31cm) circulars. The 2" tips are solid, surgical stainless steel while the 3" tips are hollow stainless steel. These packs are $25.95 each.
Also restocked , ChiaoGoo's 9" circulars in sizes 0-8. These sell quickly, if you want them come get them!

Urth Yarns released this 'Baba Noel' holiday stocking kit last week, and we kinda love it ... a lot! We've ordered a limited amount, they are due in the shop on Saturday. Some of you have pre-ordered, your orders are safe! This is a two-skein project, knit on US#7 needles in the round ... easy, peasy! Kits (including the pattern) are $59.95, and yes, we are happy to ship in the US ($10 more to cover postage).

Casapinka has a new sweater release scheduled for November 25, "Rear View Mirror" (which I think is one of the most perfect Hitchcock movies ever ... and on Black Friday, would you be fighting the mess at 'Whatever-Mart', or casting on a perfectly sweet sweater?)! This is a "side to side"/"cuff to cuff" pullover that is lovely. We are gearing up to work on a shop sample, so come see us. Prerelease, Bronwyn is recommending a fingering/mohair lace combo; here are the preliminary pattern specs:

CLOSEOUT sale on our in-stock Fairy Tale Yarn Co. fingering weights! Normally $29/skein, these are now $20.30 per skein until they are gone! This is a lovely (and sooo soft!) fingering weight sock yarn, 80% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 410 yards. Time to wrap this one up, boys & girls! We have a sock class finishing up this Saturday, we are so proud of each & every one of you. We won't be scheduling any regular 'classes' again until after the first of the year, however don't be surprised if we pop up with a one day project or two between now and New Years!
Next YaYa Fiber Night (who am I kidding, it's really pizza & beer night) is Thursday, November 17 from 5 until we're done at SKYKING Pizza (just down Main Street from the shop) ~ Amy's saving us a big table to the left. PS: One more thing ... Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday. Time to "fall back" an hour & try to shake off the depression this time changes bring!
PPS: Just took a look at my wall calendar, it is proclaiming "Housewife's Day". Seriously. That being said, I'm really enjoying working on my "Desperate Housewife" sweater when I need a break from being trapped in West World (Twists & Turns MKAL)!
