Spotlight Photo

These unique rock formations, hotoke-ga-ura, can be found in the very north of Japan on the Shimokita Peninsula. Features have been named after Buddhist figures and is known to have been a pilgrimage route in the Edo period! Hotoke-ga-ura is a key destination on our Shimokita & Tsugaru Trail.
