It's Bat removal season! Brown Bats are excluded before June 1st, before their baby season, if work is not completed before that date, so give us a call today! One-way doors are installed in August.
WATCH YOUR STEP
Warmer temperatures mean animals are coming out of their nooks and crannies to soak up some sun and find food. Watch where you're walking in the coming weeks, as snakes are hatching and slithering about. Have you found snakes or nests in your home or garden? Give us a call and we can remove and relocate them for you!
STOP THE CHEWING
Squirrels chewing your fence, siding or deck? You're not the only one! It's been a long, snow-filled Winter and food has been harder to find. Squirrels have to constantly chew and use their teeth to prevent them from growing into their jaw. As a result, they will chew on anything and everything that may help them get the job done. So, the damage has been done, but to prevent them from chewing more try one or more of the suggestions below:
Spray or paint on Equine Chew Stop (found at farm supply stores).
Cover the spot with chicken wire fencing.
Provide an alternate food source, like corn kernels or cobbs in an opposite location of the problem chewing on your property.
Hang mothballs on a post or in the immediate area to deter them with the scent.
