Living Hope Easter Service - As we continue to find new ways of being together when physical distancing guidelines prevent our gatherings, you're invited to join us for "Living Hope," a unique online Easter worship experience this year. On Sunday, April 12, World Church will be hosting two online gatherings to share in Easter celebration and worship together.

Gathering 1 --- 5 a.m. EDT        Gathering 2 --- 3 p.m. EDT

By having two gatherings, the hope is to increase participation around the world and allow people to join in at a reasonable time of their day. Pick the time that best fits your day and worship with us through music, prayers, reflections from members around the world and a homily by President Steve Veazey.

To provide opportunities for interaction as we all watch from home, the service will be broadcast on the church's FacebookTwitter, and Instagram feeds. Viewers will be invited to share in the comments on Facebook and Instagram or by using #CofChristEaster on Twitter at several points during the worship. Visit the web page for instructions to view webcast.

This allows us to offer this program to everyone regardless of their current financial situation.

History, Theology, & Philosophy Lecture Group - Tuesdays 7:30-9 p.m. Toronto Congregation. This week's topic is "Is Easter Historical?" Christians have commemorated Easter for almost 2,000 years, but is the story actual history? All serious scholars agree that there was a historical Jesus who was executed by the Romans in the early 1st century AD. The canonical gospels give a detailed account of Jesus’ final week, from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem to overturning the money-changer’s tables, his celebration of the last supper, his betrayal by Judas, his trial, and his crucifixion. But how much of these accounts are historical? What if there were evidence that most of the story is myth? Please join live stream at WWW.CENTREPLACE.CA

Qigong Wellness Home Edition - Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-11 a.m. Zoom meeting. Shinsei/Qigong develops and promotes wellness through gentle breathing and moving exercises, meditation and facilitated discussion. Improve your health, reduce your stress, and enrich your life.

William has studied and practiced Qigong for many years.
